Who is it for?
For a Christmas family evening, at home or in class: 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up, about an hour. Five puzzles, no more: a shorter kit than a full escape game, so it costs less. All you need is some scissors (an adult cuts out the stencil) and a pencil for each player.
How to print
Print at home on A4, single-sided, at 100% (“Fit” on US Letter). 11 pages, 1 of them blank on purpose (the back of the stencil); black and white is fine. The bonus decorations (3 pages, 1 of them blank on purpose) are optional.
How do I print the kits?
On a home printer, on A4, single-sided and at 100% (actual size, not “fit to page”); on US Letter paper, choose “Fit”. Use the same setting for every page. Many printers switch to double-sided on their own: check that setting before you print. Just in case, the pieces to cut out or lay on top of each other have a blank page on the back; when printing single-sided you can skip those pages (their numbers are on the kit's cover). Colour looks nicer, but every puzzle works in black and white. The cover is optional. You can reprint the kit as many times as you like for your own games.
Which language?
Everything is in English (British spelling): the printable kit, the adult's guide and the sleigh page. The same game also exists in French. The secret words and the code were rewritten in English, not just translated, so every answer still works.
